Assembly Technician

Pittsburg Tractor has the following career opportunity available for a qualified individual seeking employment in the equipment dealer industry.

Title: Assembly Technician

Location: Pittsburg Tractor – Pittsburg, TX

Reports to: Service Manager

Position Responsibilities:

–       Responsible for set-up and assembly of all types of equipment offered for sale by the dealership.

–       Capability to understand components and inspect them to see they are in proper operating conditions.

–       Complete a pre-delivery inspection of equipment to ensure the quality meets company standards.

–       Occasionally deliver new equipment to customers.

–       Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

–       Assist in maintaining the dealership’s lot (trash, equipment, organization, etc.)

–       Operate a forklift to load and unload equipment as needed.

–       Inspect all new equipment upon delivery to the dealership.

–       Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

–       Basic hand tools to perform job duties.

–       Ability to lift over 50 lbs.

–       Strong oral and written communication skills.

–       Strong organizational skills

–       Basic forklift operation experience

–       Able to work with minimal supervision.

–       Ability to work as a team member.

Education/Experience:

–       Strong mechanical skills; Good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions.
